Catch Up

Hello Friends!

Sorry it's been a few months since you've seen an update on the girls; I guess you can say I've had my hands full :)

We are currently visiting Grandma Susan in San Jose for the summer. We are also really close to Grandpa Phil and Grandma Kati so we get to visit lots of fun family. We're having a blast! Lilly is learning all about musical instruments and animals. She bosses around Bruiser (an 80+ lbs pit bull mix) and is single handedly taming a frisky kitten (Scooter). Lilly is progressing rapidly in her swimming abilities. She wears both a floaty swim suit AND arm floaties :) She tells me "Go away, mom!" If she feels like I'm hovering too much over her in the pool. Miss. Independent.

Grace is growing at unprecedented speeds. At 3.5 months old she is wearing size 6-9 months clothing! We have a little tooth breaking through her delicate bottom gums as we speak. You can imagine the effects of that. She's a happy baby for the most part. All she needs is a grin and you'll make her day. She's very smiling and is constantly moving. This last week she has discovered her feet! That means endless fun for her (and me too!)

I'll try to be more consistant with this blog. We'll see :)

Kristy

I'm a mother of 2 beautifully and intelligently wild girls: Lilly, born February 24, 2006 and Grace, born March 24 2008. The love of my life is their father, Greg. He is an extremely driven and motivated man that works hard as a Captain in the Marine Corps. AND he does dishes :) When I'm not mothering, I am studying. I am a full time student, studying Elementary Education and Special Ed. I am an advocate of animal rights and healthy living. I enjoy cooking and trying new vegan recipes and am really excited to be sharing my findings with you!
